  IPGP orchestra

Created in 2012, IPGP orchestra  is a musical formation that brings together researchers, staff and students of IPGP and gives concerts at the institute (amphitheater, library ...) but also outside the establishment.

Now it is considered as a small tradition to celebrate PhD and HDR defence parties with our music and we also play for international workshops.

Music styles and instruments are very varied: classical instruments, electric instruments, singers ... play together Vivaldi concertos, English, Japanese and French popular songs, bossa nova, jazz, creating new compositions, free improvisation, etc.

New ‘geomusicans’ of all levels are welcome
