Martian Geomorphology: insights from experiments, terrestrial analogues and topography

From a terrestrial analogue point of view, we find many landforms on Mars indicative of liquid water. However, liquid water is not stable on Mars, so we have to ask ourselves whether the martian landforms we see are in fact produced by processes that are unknown on Earth. In this presentation I will use topographic data from Earth and Mars, plus data from laboratory simulations to propose potential solutions to this entrenched problem.
