I am currently employed as a Marie Curie fellow at the interdisciplinary CAGE department of the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP), where I work with isotope geochemists, experimental petrologists and astrophysicists to investigate the formation of our Solar System. I contribute to this pursuit by investigating meteorites, using state-of-the-art microscopy and mass spectrometry laboratories at IPGP. My main areas of expertise lie with the high-grade chemical purification of elements, isotope analyses of various elements and using different mass spectrometry techniques and the petrological characterization of meteorites using high resolution microscopes. Among others, my interests lie with the investigation of the accretion regions of chondrites and their components, using the most unaltered meteorites in our collection to deduct the original building blocks of the planets in our Solar System. This includes exploring the transport of prebiotic materials and volatiles to the terrestrial planet region, a major concern to solve to beginnings of life on Earth.
