Résumé:

<p>In this paper, a sediment transport numerical formulation is presented together with a 2D shallow water Finite Volume (FV) model using MUSCL-HANCOCK-HLL (Monotone Upwind Scheme of Conservation Laws - Hancock - Harten Lax van Leer) numerical scheme. It is used to simulate a highly concentrated sediment transport application in an existing experimental investigation, and shows promising results. The comparison demonstrates the ability of the proposed model to predict the sediment change in lateral direction. The numerical solution also maintains high degree of accuracy throughout the simulation duration, which shows that the proposed numerical model is capable of simulating sediment properties accurately.</p>
