EAGE Women in Geoscience and Engineering Workshop at IPGP

Vendredi 14 Avril 2017
IPGP, 1 rue Jussieu, 75005 Paris

On Friday 14 April 2017 the first EAGE WGE workshop will take place in Paris, at IPGP. This initiative of the IPGP Gender Equality Group aims to address and perhaps solve some gender (in)equality issues encountered daily by women geoscientists.

Four female speakers from industry and academia have accepted to come talk about their own experience and point of view. The discussions will include the unconscious bias, leadership, maternity/paternity leave, 'positive discrimination', sexual harassment at work, etc.

The workshop will be conducted entirely in English and is free of charge, with no registration process. If you would like to help us keep track of the number of attendees, you can confirm you participation of the Facebook page 'Groupe Egalité de l'IPGP'.
