| Autonomous Underwater Hydrophone
(AUH) & Teleseismic
events Seismicity recorded by Autonomous Underwater Hydrophones (solid circles) and teleseismicity (triangles). A swarm of earthquakes occurred in 2001, as recorded both by the AUH and the teleseismic arrays. A web page for these seismic events, with links to a Ridge paper is available at NOAA: http://www.pmel.noaa.gov/vents/acoustics/seismicity/mar/LuckyStrike2001.html The most up to date AUH locations are available on-line from the NOAA hydroacoustic Monitoring site: http://autochart.pmel.noaa.gov:1776/autochart/GetPosit.html Files Figure courtesy of R. MANAGEMENT OF SITES: Integral reserves and restricted zones
(After the II MOMAR and Site Management Workshops, Horta, June 2002 - see documents in Workshop pages)
| Lucky Strike An integral reserve has been defined to the NW of the caldera at the summit of Lucky Strike (37° 17.29'-17.40' N ans 32° 17-16.5' W). Restricted access is proposed to the Sintra and Eiffel Tour sites. See Management Workshop documents for details Files |

| Menez Gwen An integral reserve has been defined as a transect across the summit of Menez Gwenn. Restricted access is proposed for the PP30-33 sites, on the E flank of Menez Gwen summit.See Management Workshop documents for details Files pdf file - jpeg (1729 x 1267) - jpeg (900 x 660) |
