IDS EVEB break 01-JAN-2003

ITRF break 01-JAN-2003

PB : no discontinuity was used in model and no problem was found.

ITRF2005 values are

Before the break

EVEB 2000.0 313666.405 5633552.648 2974736.770 -34.36 -7.74 23.11

After the break

EVEB 2000.0 313666.371 5633552.644 2974736.773 -34.36 -7.74 23.11

The only significant difference is in X. We may keep the break to be on the safe side

DORIS solutions (fixing the velocity to ITRF2005 values provide)

Before the break

2000.0 EVEB 313666.3984 5633552.6560 2974736.7751 -34.36 -7.74 23.11

statistics EVEB XYZ 0.0022 0.0013 0.0011 405

after the break

2000.0 EVE1 313666.3601 5633552.6600 2974736.7881 -34.36 -7.74 23.11

statistics EVE1 XYZ 0.0014 0.0009 0.0009 187

both solutoins are consistent with ITRF2005 and also show a small detectable difference in the X component.

Recommendation:

Keep the ITRF2005 positions/velocities and keep the break
