PW MANB vertical velocity is +40.6 mm/yr in the LCA
DORIS solution. This problem is not seen in the IGN
solution. It is also not seen in the LCA solution and IGN solution for MANA. As
this problem was not detected when computing the ITRF2005, it is more than
likely that the ITRF2005 positions and velocities for MANA and MANB are
incorrect. However, an IGN only solution provides the following velocities in
XYZ (ITRF2005) : 23.32 13.61 2.95. So it is very close to the original ITRF2005
values, that we will use for DPOD2005.

Preliminary
computations:
Before 01-MAR-2005 MANB data should be deleted
From, 01-MAR-2005 to 02-JUL-2005, ITRF2005 solution is
2000.0 MANB -3184355.0310 5291043.8293
1590420.2446 25.79 14.55 0.63
Using recent DORIS weekly solutions in ITRF2005 (ign07d02) and fixing
the velocity to the above value, we obtain:
2000.0 MANB -3184355.0215 5291043.8497 1590420.1883 25.79 14.55 0.63
statistics MANB XYZ 0.0026 0.0024 0.0026 61
there is a significant difference in Z
After the break, the ITRF2005 solution is
2000.0 MANB -3184355.0192 5291043.8436 1590420.1777
25.79
14.55 0.63
Using recent DORIS weekly solutions in ITRF2005 (ign07d02) and fixing
the velocity to the above value, we obtain:
2000.0 MAN2 -3184355.0270 5291043.8503 1590420.1839 25.79 14.55 0.63
statistics MAN2 XYZ 0.0017 0.0011 0.0014 96
this is rather close
So the DORIS-derived posiitons before and after the break are very close
and also very close to the lastr ITRF2005 value. However, the first ITRF2005
value is rather far apart.
We suggest to use the following value before and after the break
2000.0 MANB -3184355.024 5291043.850 1590420.186 25.79 14.55 0.63
statistics MANB XYZ 0.0026 0.0024 0.0026 61
The problem could also come from a misinterpretation of the ITRF2005
MANB solutions (to be confirmed)
Recommendation:
2000.0 MANB -3184355.024 5291043.850 1590420.186 25.79 14.55 0.63
statistics MANB XYZ 0.0026 0.0024 0.0026 61
