I will present theoretical and modeling investigations of the possibility to incorporate coseismic ionospheric signals into tsunami early-warning systems within 10 minutes after the earthquake onset. I will elaborate on our latest modeling results, leading toward the quantitative assessment of the size of an underwater earthquake using ionospheric signals and associated tsunami.
