Biography I am a geologist by training and an isotope geochemist by specialisation. I am interested in a range of different research questions mainly relating to high temperature terrestrial processes. Current topics include:
- Application of transition metal stable isotopes to trace solid earth processes - Study of exhumed metamorphic terranes as analogues for current subduction zones - Grain scale elemental and isotopic studies relating to metamorphic and igneous processes - The development of high precision isotope measurements by plasma and thermal source multiple collector mass spectrometers - The use of short-lived radiogenic isotope systems (182W and 142Nd) in tracing early earth mantle dynamics
