Research Interests

Volcanic gases and ash particles injected into the atmosphere during an explosive eruption pose a significant threat to populations and infrastructures in the vicinity of active volcanoes.

The aim of our research is to improve our understanding of these phenomena by studying the mechanisms of transport, dispersion and sedimentation of particles ejected during volcanic eruptions.
