I would describe myself as a creative and energetic person, always seeking for new challenges and activities. I was born and raised in Serbia, and lived there until I finished my undergraduate studies. Growing up in a country that was passing through very difficult period in history was not easy, but made me strong and determined, full of appreciation for life and people I love. At the age of 25 I moved to New York to pursue graduate studies at Columbia University - a big move that changed me for good, but for better. The experience of living in the Big Apple gave me confidence that everything is possible if I believe in myself, made me more tolerant and open to changes. After finishing graduate studies many doors of opportunities opened in front of me. I chose the one that lead me to France. Currently I live in Paris and work as a researcher under Marie S. Curie fellowship.
The creative part of my personality I try to express trough photography, especially macro technique. Recently, I discovered a whole new world of infra-red technique, but still practicing...
Also, I am passionate about languages. A Czech proverb says: You live a new life for every new language you speak. Currently with Japanese I am living the seventh one, the most difficult so far.
As the most of the people, I like traveling. I use every opportunity to go to different places and learn about new cultures and custom, and of course to make some nice photos.
