Once you have opened a file, data may be viewed in data lists as follows.

• Data stored in DIR files should be first edited in memory. They are then displayed in the DIR window.

• When you open an ASCII file, a "formatting box" appears, allowing you to define the sequence of data in the file. When you have determined this sequence, the file is opened, and, contrary to the previous case, all the data are edited in memory. They are then displayed in the same DIR window as above.

• Opening of a PMD file results in the edition of the first sample (or specimen) and its measurements. Data of this first sample are displayed in the PMD window.
