Melt inclusions provide a unique perspective on mid-ocean ridge (MOR) magmatic processes by preserving the compositions of melts generated at different depths within the upwelling mantle beneath mid-ocean ridges. Here I will present volatile, major, and trace elements for glasses and melt inclusions from the Gakkel and Southwest Indian Ridges. These ridges spread at very slow rates which has important implications for the generation, storage and eruption of magmas.
