Mes activités de recherche sont centrées sur le signal géomagnétique, qui émane du noyau liquide de la Terre. Sur une large gamme d'échelles spatiales et temporelles, ce signal documente la structure, la dynamique et l'évolution géologique de notre planète. Comprendre la géodynamo, le processus de créaton du champ géomagnétique, est un des grands défis des Sciences Physiques et de la Terre. Prévoir l'évolution future du champ géomagnétique est aussi important pour son impact sur les technologies humaines avec lesquelles il interagit. Plus de détails sur ma recherche (en anglais): https://www.ipgp.fr/~aubert.
