Cécile Prigent

My research focuses on the dynamics of the lithosphere at plate boundaries, with a principal purpose of understanding how feedback processes between rock deformation and fluid migration influence seismic and tectonic processes. To do this, I principally conduct geological fieldwork and integrated, petrological-geochemical-(micro)structural, studies of exhumed crustal and mantle fault zones sampled at the seafloor or exposed on land at ophiolites and orogenic massifs.
