All forms and subjects are represented: the general public, schoolchildren and professionals discover feature films, television documentaries, short films and scientific videos from the web. The festival showcases a diversity of innovative writing and new experiences for an ever-growing audience.
As the dialogue between science and society is at the heart of the project, the screenings are followed by meetings with the scientists and teams behind the films.

For the twelgth year running, the IPGP is supporting the Pariscience festival by hosting :
- all the screenings/debates of the school selections and juries in its amphitheatre from 11 to 19 October 2023
- part of the screenings/debates for the general public in the same amphitheatre from 26 to 30 October
- "Symbiose", a 48-hour short film competition screened on Wednesday 18 October
- the "E-toiles de sciences" competition for popular science videos on the Internet, on Saturday 28 October
