REPORT

Are you a victim of or witness to a concerning situation: who can you contact?

Harassment, gender-based or sexual violence, discrimination,  sexist behaviour, physical or verbal violence, cyberbullying, psychosocial risks… Are you a victim of or witness to a situation that  concerns you? There are people and support systems available to listen  to you, advise you, guide you and support you.

Depending on your situation and status, several options are available  to you. You do not need to wait for a situation to become more serious  before speaking about it or seeking advice.

If you are a witness, you can also take action: reporting a  situation or contacting someone for support can help protect and  assist a person experiencing difficulties.

First point of contact: resource persons within the IPGP

If you are an IPGP staff member, doctoral candidate, or student  hosted within the institution, several  contacts are available directly at the IPGP. Depending on the nature of the situation, you can contact the person with whom you feel  most comfortable speaking.

Equality, violence, discrimination, harassment and sexist behaviour officer

Equality Officer:Magalie Bonifacie

The Equality Officer can be contacted in particular regarding  any question or situation relating to workplace equality,
discrimination or sexist behaviour.

AVDHAS Officer:Dimitri Rigoussen

Human Resources Department

Director of Human Resources:Romain Legout

The IPGP Human Resources Department is available to listen to you  and discuss any situation encountered in the workplace,  advise you and support you with any steps that may need to be taken.

IPGP Executive Management

The institution’s Executive Management can also be contacted directly.

**Director of the IPGP: Jean-Philippe Avouac

Director General of Administration :Ana Claudia Fonseca Brefe

The IPGP Executive Management is and will remain available to listen to  staff members facing a difficult situation or wishing to bring to its  attention incidents of which they are victims or witnesses.

For doctoral candidates Doctoral candidates may also  contact their thesis supervisor, the head of their
team or laboratory, or any of the resource persons listed on this page.

You wish to report a situation

If you are a victim of or witness to harassment,  gender-based or sexual violence, discrimination, racism, antisemitism, physical or verbal violence, cyberviolence, cyberbullying or  psychosocial risks, you may also use Université Paris Cité’s reporting system.

Université Paris Cité reporting platform

The platform enables both victims and witnesses to bring a situation to the University’s attention so that it can be
reviewed and the person concerned can be directed to the appropriate support and assistance.

Access the reporting platform:
 https://signalement.app.u-pariscite.fr

Full description of the Université Paris Cité reporting platform

Do not hesitate to use this system. Different courses of action are available: it is essential not to remain passive when faced with a concerning situation, whether you are directly affected or a witness.

If you are a CNRS staff member

CNRS staff members also have access to a dedicated reporting system.

You can report a situation or contact the CNRS reporting service at:

CNRS staff members hosted at the IPGP may, of course,  also contact the IPGP resource persons listed
on this page.

Victim or witness: do not wait to speak up. It is not always  easy to determine whether the situation you are
facing legally constitutes harassment, discrimination,  gender-based or sexual violence, or another situation requiring
support. You do not need to have already determined the legal nature of  the incident or to be certain of its seriousness before  contacting someone. Doubts, discomfort, repeated behaviour  or a situation you have witnessed may all be reasons toseek advice.
