The post-doctoral researcher will work on the evolution of the elemental and isotopic composition of nitrogen and noble gases in the Earth's atmosphere from Archean to Present. This work will focus on the development of existing and new paleo-atmospheric proxies.

The candidate will use a range of petrological tools as well as monitoring data to accurately estimate pre-eruptive volatile budgets and magma ascent rates of some of the volcanoes monitored by IPGP, including those at Martinique, Guadeloupe, or La Reunion.
