The main aim of the Nu-Earth-Probe project is to evaluate and develop the potential of atmospheric neutrino tomography as an alternative
method to constrain the Earth composition and matter content. This study will both increase the physics reach of the experiment and
provides new synergies between neutrino physics and Earth sciences, with mutual benefits. Independent information on the electron
density in the Earth core and mantle as provided by neutrinos that have traversed the Earth could indeed help narrowing down the allowed
parameter space.
