IPGP Data Centre

IPGP Data Centre

Address

1 rue Jussieu 75005 Paris

The data centre manages the IPGP’s observation data and makes them available to the scientific community. It is tasked with their archiving, long-term storage (enhanced protection) and distribution via standard formats and interfaces. It is also responsible for inter- connection with national (RESIF-EPOS and ForM@Ter), European (EPOS) and global (FDSN and NASA’s Planetary Data System) services. In addition, it is responsible for declaring the digital object identifiers (DOIs) associated with IPGP data networks.

The IPGP data centre manages seismological, GNSS and volcanological data from 7 observation networks: GEOSCOPE (G), the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Guadeloupe (GL), the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Martinique (MQ), the Volcanological Observatory of Piton de la Fournaise (PF), the Comoros Archipelago Seismic and Volcanic Network (QM), the French West Indies Seismological Network (WI) and the InSight Mars Observatory (XB 2016-2022).
