At the 15th Symposium of the European Society of Glass Science and Technology, held in Cambridge (UK) from July 14 to 19, 2024, the presidency of the European Society of Glass Science and Technology (ESGT) was handed over from Prof. Alex Hannon, President of the Society of Glass and Technology and ISIS Neutron & Muon Source and Daniel R. Neuville, Director of Research at the CNRS, member of the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris and President of the Union pour la Science et Technologie Verrière (USTV). Under the French presidency of ESGT, coupled with ICG, will organize the next European Glass Congress, in Lyon in April 2026.
