Each year, the Société Géologique de France awards two thesis prizes to students who have distinguished themselves by the quality of their doctoral work. These prizes are awarded in the form of a grant by a jury made up of members of the prizes committee.

Manon Bickert, a member of the Marine Geosciences team at the IPGP, has been awarded the Ami Boué 2020 thesis prize (donated by ANDRA) for her work on “Deformation localisation modes in oceanic detachment faults: the extreme case of a slow ridge with a very low magma budget”, under the supervision of Mathilde Cannat.
