The purpose of this ceremony is to recognize and celebrate members of the community who have shown outstanding commitment to promoting the university and advancing research, innovation, teaching, or the university itself, regardless of the field.

It is a moment of recognition to pay tribute to those who, through their commitment to the collective, contribute to the dynamism and reputation of the university.

One of the nine winners of the 2025 Medals of Commitment is Frédéric Moynier, a researcher in cosmochemistry at the Paris Institute of Earth Physics.

The University Paris Cité Medal of Commitment is a great honor for me. It highlights the recognition by my colleagues at UPC of our work in cosmochemistry and the impact it has had beyond this field by promoting interdisciplinary collaborations that have enriched my research.
